Important legal arguments have now been heard

The court has considered arguments concerning charges and contractual terms imposed on Flamingo Land holiday-home owners. These arguments include potential refunds for:

  • Unfair pitch fee increases
  • Subletting fees and deductions
  • Commissions charged on private sales

KPC Law is representing current and former Flamingo Land owners who are seeking reimbursement of pitch fee increases, subletting charges and commissions paid on private sales. A group action will be launched later this summer. If you wish to join the group and instruct KPC Law, click the link below.

Holiday Park Action Group

Are you a member of the Holiday Park Action Group?

The Holiday Park Action Group has been campaigning for change in the industry for years and has recommended KPC Law to Flamingo Land caravan owners.

You may have a claim if you paid any of the following

— Claim 01

Pitch fee increases

Were your annual pitch fees increased during your ownership?

If the court rules in favour of the claimants, you may be entitled to repayment of all pitch fee increases since you started your licence agreement.

— Claim 02

Subletting fees

Were you charged fees for subletting?

If the court rules in favour of the claimants, you may be entitled to a refund of those fees since you started your licence agreement.

— Claim 03

Private sale commissions

Were you charged a fee or commission when selling your holiday home privately?

You may have a claim even where Flamingo Land did not find the buyer or manage the sale.

How it works

1

Register your interest

Tell us about you, your Flamingo Land home and your claim. It takes a couple of minutes.

2

Sign your authority

Sign online and your documents will be generated and sent to you by email instantly.

3

KPC Law takes it forward

Your claim will be reviewed and if it is considered that you are eligible to proceed, you will be advised about this and your claim included in the group claim to be issued later this summer.

No Win, No Fee — what does this mean?

KPC Law will not charge any fees unless your claim is successful. ATE insurance will also provide cover against the risk of liability for the defendant’s costs.

If your claim is successful, our fee is 40% plus VAT of the compensation recovered. KPC will seek to recover part of these costs from the defendant, so the actual deduction may be less than this.

Register now if any of these apply to you

You currently own or previously owned a caravan, lodge or holiday home at Flamingo Land and:

  • your pitch fees increased
  • you paid subletting fees
  • you paid commission when selling privately

You can still register if you no longer own the holiday home.
